Q. Are there any common allergens in nanoEPA?
nanoEPA contains no gluten, yeast, milk derivatives, artificial colors or flavors.
Q. Can I mix nanoEPA DHA with the other nano products?
Yes, all nano formulas are designed to taste well and work well together. nanoEPA also mixes great in water because of its emulsification.
Q. Can I take both nanoEPA and nanomega3?
Yes, most persons can, as adding NanOmega3 increases your total omega-3 intake, especially ALA, as well as extra vitamins, minerals, fiber and an especially absorbable delivery form of the beneficial herb, turmeric. For general wellness, ½ tsp of nanoEPA and one scoop of NanOmega3 should suffice. Please check with your health professional if you need further direction.
Q. How can fish oil taste so good?
Lots of time, research and effort, but no artificial ingredients, flavors or flavor enhancers! We also make nanoEPA with love!
Q. How is nanoEPA 3 x more potent than regular fish oil pills?
Because nanoEPA is emulsified into very tiny droplets, it is up to 300% more absorbable, and therefore up to 300% more powerful. Therefore: 720 mg (2 tsp.) nanoEPA = up to 2160 mg regular fish oil*.
Q. How is oxidation prevented in nanoEPA?
nanoEPA features a system called MaxPure™ that protects our fish oil from the detrimental effects of heat, peroxides, oxygen and light. Our MaxPure™ System: fresh catch processing technology ensures that oil is free from the damaging effects of heat, light and oxygen. Opaque Bottles suppress light induced oxidation. Nitrogen Flushed Bottles suppress oxygen-induced oxidation. FreshLok® Anti-Oxidant Protection suppresses peroxide-induced oxidation. Recommended refrigeration once you receive your nanoEPA suppresses heat-induced oxidation.
Q. How much nanoEPA should I take?
As nanoEPA is much more absorbable, 2 tsp. a day is fine for most people. For maximum anti-inflammatory action, your health professional might recommend more.
Q. What is MaxPure™?
MaxPure™ is the trade mark name for the processes used to make sure that our product passes all heavy metal, rancidity and contaminant testing.
Q. Which is better, omega-3 from flax or fish?
Both fish oil and flaxseed ultimately supply your body with essential fatty acids( EFAs), which have been shown to have a number of important effects within the body. If you feel you are very omega-3 depleted you may opt to take nanoEPA until you notice an improvement, and then convert to nanomega3. Both oils have been shown to contribute positively to health and some people opt to take both oils, so that they complement each other.
