Electro-ox measures the capacity of a sample to scavenge the superoxide radical. Trolox, a water-soluble antioxidant, is used to generate a standard curve, and the sample’s ability to scavenge superoxide is compared to Trolox. Results are reported in µmol Trolox Equivalents (TE) per gram of sample. We have also done the math to provided a per serving comparison as well.
